This item is from a 08 VW GOLF GTI. The current photo may be a stock photo if we do not have individual pictures of the engine. Please note we are located in Northwest Pennsylvania in the snow belt. Our vehicles do rust and depending on how old the engine is it will show signs of corrosion. We video all our engines running that we can run test and will be attached to this listing.
What the Engine will come with: Block, Cylinder Heads, Intake Manifold, Throttle Body, Timing Cover, Oil Pan, Harmonic Balancer, Fuel Rail & Injectors.
What the Engine will Not come with unless otherwise noted in listing: Turbo/Supercharger, Alternator, Power Steering Pump, Starter, A/C Compressor, Coil Pack, Exhaust Manifold, Egr System, Distributor, Flywheel, Electronic Sensors, Miscellaneous brackets. If left equipped to the engine, it is for the buyer's convenience only and will not have a warranty.
There is no core charge for our engines. To help with your installation you may keep your current engine in case you need to transfer some parts such as (sensors, manifolds, brackets, etc.).
We will require the VIN # of your vehicle before we ship any engine. This is to ensure proper fitment. Please email or call us with your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) information. If we do not hear from you, we will contact you by phone/email.
Payment

We accept payments through PayPal, along with Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express through PayPal processing.

E-checks through PayPal will have to clear before shipping, which may take 5-10 business days for processing.

6% Sales tax will be applied to all orders shipped/picked up in state of Pennsylvania.

Pay on pickup available for orders placed for local pickup for stock items off on the shelf.

Shipping

Items shipped by freight will require signature upon delivery. If there is a problem with delivery, the buyer is responsible for all additional charges (ex. redelivery, limited access fees).

Local delivery available to local businesses only.

Items are shipped insured; if item is damaged in shipping, please take photos of packaging and product, then contact us to file a claim immediately.

If listing states "free shipping", free shipping is within the 48 states only. Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, Virgin Islands, or any other outlying islands will have additional shipping charges.

Warranty & Returns

Standard 90-day warranty on all parts.

Labor is not covered by warranty.

Warranty applies to parts that arrive defective/damaged or become defective within the warranty period. Refunds are capped at the original eBay item & shipping price and do not include any labor, diagnostics, towing, or any other expense related to an item being defective/damaged/incorrect. Expect normal wear/corrosion appropriate with the donor vehicle's age and location from Northwest Pennsylvania (yes stuff rusts here).

Warranty covers engine block, cylinder heads, crankshaft, pistons, rods, bearings, oil pans, and excessive oil consumption according to manufacturer standards and the mileage on the engine.

Every engine is pressure washed and has a heat tab glued to the block that will melt out at 250 degrees Fahrenheit on gas engines and diesel engines at 230 degrees Fahrenheit. This will indicate if the engine has been overheated. Overheated engines will void all warranties.

All returns MUST be accompanied by an authorized RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization); please contact us to initiate the return.

Non-warranty returns must be made within 30-days of purchase; 20% restocking and/or shipping charge fee may apply for certain returns.
