The more a walking stick looks like a golf club, the more desirable (collectible) it is. Some walking sticks are more a caricature of a golf club rather than a well-made clubhead in miniature. The gentleman's walking stick has a persimmon club head which has a pegged horn insert and a lead weight to the rear. The socket head is attached to a hickory shaft with brass ferrule end. The head measures a lengthy 3 inches and the club face in 1.75 inches deep. The club is approximately 36 inches long to the bottom of the hosel. The shaft is the original, the grip is the original (I think), in worn condition, see photos. The head is tight to the hosel when you twist it. This club would make a great addition to anyone’s collection.
