, Limited edition of 975 plus 95 Artist's proofs. Each print measures 17" x 25", and is printed on Patina Matte 80 lb. Cover 100% acid -free paper. This offset lithograph, printed in September, 2005 at Color Q in Dayton, Ohio, was personally supervised, numbered and signed by artist. The printing plates were destroyed by the artist. This is one of four original paintings commissioned by the Washington Duke Inn & Golf Club. The original painting is on display at the Inn, next to the campus of Duke University. Artist's note: "I enjoyed painting the fall colors, reflections, and spraying water of the fountain.It is a challenge for golfers to land their tee shot on the green of duke University Golf Course - Hole No.12. Fortunately I have sold several of these prints to golfers who made a hole-in-one here." About the artist : Steven Ray Miller, has been awarded "Durham's Best Artist" by Durham Magazine for the last three years. As a master of gouache, he uses two coats of opaque watercolors on dry paper, making them look as rich acrylic or silkscreens. Steven creates impressive pieces that resemble photographs. Since 1978, he's hidden a heart in each one of his paintings, hoping to "bring the viewer in for a closer look". His website is artwithhearts.com
