WARRANTY / GUARANTEE This engine comes with a standard 30 days parts only warranty. Labor is not covered under the warranty. The WARRANTY and INTERCHANGE on this Engine assembly DOES NOT INCLUDE sensors or seals of any kind, freeze plugs, spark plugs, intake gaskets, water pumps, thermostats, timing components, and all external bolt on parts such as but not limited to intake and exhaust manifolds, valve covers, oil pans, timing covers, injectors, injection pumps, glow plugs, distributors, carburetors, throttle bodies, turbochargers, supercharges, harmonic balancers, flywheels and flex plates.  All non-warranted parts must be inspected by the installer for damage and to determine interchangeability from the original engine prior to installation.  Engines are sold as a long block interchange only. Change induction, exhaust, oil pan, and wiring harness etc. as needed. Norb’s Auto Salvage will not pay for costs of transferring any parts.  Cost of labor and gaskets must be discussed and agreed upon by the mechanic and the purchaser before installation. Engines are marked and stamped for indentification purposes. Norb’s recommends the following components be replace prior to Engine installation Oil and  Oil Filter Flush or Replace all Oil Cooler and Lines per Factory Recommendations Air Filter Spark Plugs and Wires PCV Thermostat Water Pump All External Seals All Timing components – Belts, Tensioners, Idlers, Guides Hoses Belts Oil and Temperature Sensors Freeze/Frost Plugs Intake, Valve Cover, and Oil Pan Gaskets This is a list of common components that need replacing; all other sensors and bolt on components and gaskets should be inspected prior to installation.  Consult a qualified mechanic and or TSB’s (Technical Service Bulletin) for information on known problems prior to installation.  Norb’s reserves the right at any time to refuse warranty if a “known bad”, or “high failure rate” gasket, belt, or part is NOT replaced and causes failure, or costs to repair.
