Word has spread quickly since it's introduction in 2019 about the results players are getting with these shafts. Generally, when properly fitted, golfers should expect to see more center-face contact and control. And we always recommend that a professional fitting be performed prior to purchasing shafts and any new golf equipment you are considering. Thanks to the popularity of the original Ventus Blue the company then developed the slightly higher launch/mid spin Ventus Red, and the low launch/low spin Ventus Black. The shafts offered here are OEM options offered by the major golf manufacturers for their premium driver and fairway models. This is NOT the VeloCore shaft. While these shafts are not the Velocore versions, the basic profile remains the same for each. This listing is for the Ventus Black, geared for higher swing speeds with a noticeably lower launch and spin rate. We offer a very wide selection of shaft weights and flexes for all three versions from which to choose. Ventus Red - With a more active tip section, the Red profile is designed to achieve a slightly higher launch and spin rate than the Blue.

- With a mid-launch and low spin, the Blue profile sits firmly in the middle of the Ventus lineup.

Ventus Black - The beefiest profile in the lineup, Ventus Black is geared for higher swing speeds with a noticeably lower launch and spin rate.

As standard, we ship assembled with an aftermarket adapter tip, set for graphics to point down when in the standard position, trimmed to 44 3/8" finished length which, is 44.5" from Tip to Grip and after installing the grip and club head, generally equates to 45.5" actual playing length. Playing length may vary slightly based on the specific model. Should you prefer a different driver length or to use for fairway woods, (Please Note: Fairway woods are prepared differently and some use unique tips.  Also, be specific: "Playing Length" or "Tip to Grip") or anything other than standard as described above, please send us a message IMMEDIATELY AFTER purchase and we will be happy to accommodate. We include a generic velvet style grip in standard size (default) or Midsize (let us know) or we can leave it ungripped if you prefer (let us know), but do not offer any other options.
