This thread is for Persimmon and Laminated Golf Clubs from the 40’s-90’s and still today. This is a thick strand premium quality Golf Club whipping thread, which is very hard to find. It has three strong internal strands and is covered with a gloss black polymer outer coating. Persimmon woods from MacGregor, Penna, Hogan, Wood Bros. etc… all used this type of thread. It is not the older waxed thread used on Hickory shafted clubs. Available length is 50 yards . Contact us if you want a larger amount
A Golf club generally takes ~5 yards of thread per club.
The thread will come on a white spool with the length written on the end.
