We recommend a body shop with experience in custom cars do the install. Most products can be installed with self-tapping screws, 3M mounting tape, rivets and urethane silicone adhesive (BETASEAL-U-418) Most of these items are readily available at most hardware store and auto body supply shops. Alignment and Prep This item is an unpainted/unfinished FRP part and will require preparation just like all aftermarket auto body parts, sanding down primer, alignment, body filling are all needed for this item to be ready for the painting process. Sanding the black gelcoat and primer is 100% necessary prior to paint. We do not recommend installing this without proper sealant or paint as this item is in FLAT black and will scratch very easily even upon the slightest touch. We do not guaranty perfect fitment as the part will only look as good as how the installer work and craftsmanship is and this is can be very subjective. All parts have been test fitted on cars before molding to ensure the fitment, we always recommend buyer install them by a professional body shop with carbon or fiberglass experience. Due to these items being handcrafted in mold and production, little adjustment, sanding, trimming or cutting might be needed. We are not responsible for install quotations, Body shops give many different prices on install and paint, please do your homework before buying this item. Getting a quote and estimate before hand can save you from additional costs and issues down the line. Please remember that body shops are businesses and choosing the correct shop for value and experience is a good start. Edge Contouring Edge contouring is required for this item for proper install, The manufacturer of this FRP product leaves an extra 3-5mm of extra material on the inner edge of the lip, this edge needs to be sanded down to the contour of the bumper/body part. If edge contouring is not done, gaps may be visible and the part will be short and fit very tight upon install. (DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT if you or your body shop does not want to prep this item by edge contouring.) By leaving extra FRP material, this gives the installer play room with the product and will be able to correct the gaps for a seamless install.
