This item is a right-handed 9 club iron set. They are a nice set of 1968 MacGregor VIP By Nicklaus forged muscle back irons. Underlined By Nicklaus with crown borders on the face. The 5 iron is 37" length, which I believe was the standard length back then. Included are the 2-iron through Pitching Wedge-9 clubs in all. Heads are in good used vintage condition. Yes, they show use with minor bag nicks and dings. Grooves are fine. The shafts are the original MacGregor Tourney Taper steel in 1 stiff flex. The shaft bands are not perfect, but they are also mainly present. There is also a prior owner's label on the shafts. The grips are rubber that are dry and slick with age and need to be replaced for play. A classic style blade design. Please look at the many zoom pictures for a better idea of condition. These are part of a large collection I am liquidating. They have been in controlled storage for the last 20 years, longer than that if you count the original owner's ownership. S hipping in the US is calculated and based on a 12-pound box. This item shipped calculated UPS Ground . For those of you that never ship but only receive items, the further you are from me in NC the more shipping will be. That is the way the USPS charges. On top of that Pricetronic takes 15% of what I receive for shipping (out of $10 I receive $8.50) and I would like to break even. Pricetronic now collects tax for many states. I do not receive that money as Pricetronic remits it directly to your state. Pricetronic even takes 15% of the tax money from me and I never see this money.
