Steiff Limited Edition Golf

STEIFF GOLFER TEDDY BEAR Made in Germany #02336/3000 With Stand Description & Condition : Handsome Golfer Teddy Bear made by Steiff and offered as part of their World Wide Exclusive Limited Edition. This particular bear was on the cover of the October 2001 #39 issue of the Steiff Club Magazine. He has the gold Steiff button with a white and red lettered tag stating he is a Steiff Bear made in Germany in his left ear.  This is a fully jointed bear with blonde mohair fur; brown eyes; hand stitched brown nose, claws on paws and mouth; cream colored imitation suede pads on paws  He is wearing a hand made brown plaid flat cap worn by golfers and matching brown plaid knickers with a golfer's glove hanging out of the back right side of his pants. He is wearing a white collared shirt with short sleeves, with a gold knit sweater vest that has a Steiff Golf Club logo/crest on the left side of the vest. He wears a white and brown pair of golfer (saddle style) shoes with white laces.  Finally, he has a white and brown leather golf bag with three metal golf clubs (putter, wedge and driver) with the Steiff name on the head of each.  He has a fourth golf club (driver) with a ball attached to the head and it is stitched onto his his right arm. Finally, the bear comes with a white metal doll stand.  It has a maker mark on the base that reads:  "Kaiser Chicago" and has a crown logo. MAKER MARK: Gold Steiff button attached to left ear with a red & white tag that reads: "Made in Germany by Steiff Knopf Im Ohr (translates to button in ear).  The backside of tag has additional info relating to the bear.
