Vintage 1980’s Sun Mountain Canvas & Leather Golf Stand Bag w/ Hickory Wood Legs. This vintage bag is an estate sale find. Unfortunately it does have a good amount of wear and stains to the canvas, but a good cleaning would help, and it is still a very hard bag to come across nowadays. It has a RIBA AIA National Golfing Society patch stitched on the lower, front pocket. Founded in 1977, the RIBA-AIA International Golfing Society is an association of Architects from Great Britain and Ireland representing the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA), and Architects from the United States representing the American Institute of Architects (AIA), who meet bi-annually in a Ryder Cup format golfing competition.
The wood legs need adjusted and/or trimmed as they don’t hold the bag up consistently in its current state. 19 detailed pictures provided. Thanks for looking!
