Vintage Universal GenÈve Electric Desk Clock - Golf

A COOL LITTLE DESK CLOCK 1950's Vintage Universal Geneve Electric Desk Clock This wonderfully designed clock has graceful curves and a sporty attitude. It looks like it should be a pen stand, but we couldn't find any examples of this clock to be sure -- I took one picture with a pen in it for reference.
Approximately 4¾" tall, 4" wide, and 3" deep. Made of bakelite, the club is black, with a wood grain front surrounding the trapezoid shaped, black and red dial face. Brass base.
Printed gold stick markers. Gold hands, red sweep center seconds. Flat acrylic crystal has very light surface flaws.
Printed in gold on the dial: UNIVERSAL GENÈVE / ELECTRIC / SWISS MADE

Marked SWISS inside, with timing adjustments. Self-winding movement makes a whirring sound every time it winds. Movement: 42-EL-3, 13 jewels.
New battery (A132). Runs great. Beautiful condition overall.
