• Up for sale is a repair kit for the horn button on a MK1 Scirocco / Gti early Wolfsburg steering wheel. As you probably already know, the plastic tabs that attach the horn button to the steering wheel are notorious for breaking- especially after 35+ years of usage.
• As you can see in the photos, it’s a very simple install and only takes a few minutes. Tools needed: something to cut the tabs flush, 2 drill bits ( 1 smaller to drill a pilot hole and a 4.2mm for the final), 5x.8 tap. Please remember to drill/ thread all the way through and thread the bolts in only hand tight.
