You must have a core PLEASE READ THIS LISTING COMPLETELY 1)remanufactured Exchange Yamaha J38 Golf Cart Engine 285 cc OHV Golf Cart Engine by Yamaha Fits years 1985, 1986,1987,1988,1989,1990,1991,1992,1993,1994,19100 Fits models: G2, G5, G8, G9 Golf Carts (confirm your model). Engine model number is cast on top of crankcase under exhaust port. Cart Serial Prefixes: J38, JA2, J55, JF2, JF3, JG5,JH7 (some 1993-19100: JJ3 and JR3) Contact us for shipping instructions or questions: 3148275804 This remanufactured exchange engine will replace your tired, smoking, leaking golf cart motor and run like new. This is a remanufactured Long Block. This engine was completely disassembled, cleaned, inspected, and brought to factory specs using Yamaha OEM parts . Including at least: cylinder bores trued, straightened and crosshatched, new rings, new gasket kit, new seals, new valve guide seals, valves ground, lapped and set. Buyer must be able to provide us with a remanufacture-able core. Core: The Item Winner agrees to send their engine one of two ways: 1)Item Winner ships their core to us for inspection and exchange prior to us shipping fresh remanufactured engine. 2) Need it sooner? Only if we have in stock: Pay a US$1670.00 refundable core deposit over and above the sales price of the auction ( billed under separate invoice through PayPal after close of auction). Upon Receipt of Core: we will promptly disassemble, inspect and o nce the engine is deemed remanufacture-able we will 1)ship the remanufactured engine or, 2) refund the $1670.00 core deposit. We will not ship the Item without: 1) receiving a rebuildable core or, 2) receiving the core deposit. We will notify you of Damaged or non- remanufacture-able parts and any costs associated with their replacement. We will provide photos and explanations of any unusable parts. If you know you have damage, let us know ahead of time and we will provide you an initial estimate. If Item winner elects to pay the core deposit, we will deduct damaged and/or missing parts from the core deposit. Examples of a non-satisfactory core would be any of the following: A broken con rod, broken crank, hole in block, broken head, missing parts, etc. We will be fair and work accommodate you. We charge for broken bolt extraction. If your not sure, don't remove it. If an engine is missing a major component or the component is deemed unfit, Item winner agrees to pay for replacement of an OEM new or OEM serviceable part. In order to guarantee the engine: You must use new fuel pump and fuel filter along with OEM recommended oil. One way shipping cost is $100 Customer agrees to provide a remanufacture-able core of same model We charge for removal and or exchange of components, we also charge for broken studs/bolts. A damaged crank will cost $275 (includes: Crank refurbish / polish and new Rod Bearing) Intake valves are common and run $33.00 each Clutch exchange: $60 Cylinder heads and Blocks are case by case.
